This Jewelcrafting leveling guide will show you the fastest way how to level your Jewelcrafting skill up from 1 to 300 as inexpensively as possible.

Materials Required

This is the list of approximate materials required to reach 300.

• 100x Copper Bar
• 20x Tigerseye or 20x Malachite
• 120x Bronze Bar = (60x Copper Bar, 60x Tin Bar
• 60x Shadowgem or you can also get 20x Shadowgem and 20x Small Lustrous Pearl
• 80x Heavy Stone
• 30x Moss Agate or 60x Lesser Moonstone (combination of both can work too)
• 140x Mithril Bar
• 80x Solid Stone
• 25x Citrine
• 15x Truesilver Bar
• 5x Aquamarine
• 50x Thorium Bar
• 10x Star Ruby
• 20x Large Opal
• 7x Azerothian Diamond
• 3x Blue Sapphire
• 3x Essence of Undeath

Prospecting Table

You will automatically learn theProspectingskill when you learn Jewelcrafting. You can use this skill to convert 5 raw ores into gems if you want to prospect the ores instead of buying the gems from the Auction House. (can be time-consuming)

Each ore will yield different types of gems, so I put together the table below to list all the available gems that you can get from each ore.

• Common: Each time you prospect 5x ores, you will always get at least 1 gem from the "Common" column in the table below. Sometimes you can get two common gems, so these numbers don't add up to 100%.
• Rare: There is also a chance to get 1 gem from the "Rare" column. This roll is on top of the common gem(s), so this will show up as an extra gem in your loot window.

Leveling Vanilla Jewelcrafting

Draenei characters have +10 Jewelcrafting skill because of their passive Gemcutting, and Kul Tiran characters have +5 from the trait Jack of All Trades. Any extra Jewelcrafting skill means recipes stay orange for more points. You can save a lot of gold by doing lower level recipes for more points.

Before you start, you have to buy a Jeweler's Kit from the Jewelcrafting Supplies vendor near your trainer or General/Trade Goods vendors.

1 - 110

• 1-30
  30x Delicate Copper Wire - 60 Copper Bar

  Save these, you will need them later.

• 30-50
  20x Tigerseye Band - 20 Tigerseye, 20 Delicate Copper Wire

  You can make 20x Malachite Pendant too.

• 50-80
  50x Bronze Setting - 100 Bronze Bar

  Save these, you will need them later.

• 80-100

  20x Simple Pearl Ring - 20 Small Lustrous Pearl, 20 Bronze Setting, 40 Copper Bar

  or

  20x Gloom Band - 20 Bronze Setting, 40 Shadowgem, 40 Delicate Copper Wire

  Make Ring of Silver Might if Silver Bar is cheap on your server.

• 100-110
  10x Ring of Twilight Shadows - 20 Shadowgem, 20 Bronze Bar

  You can also continue to make Ring of Silver Might

110 - 180

• 110-120
  10x Heavy Stone Statue - 80 Heavy Stone

  If Heavy Stone is cheap (usually it's not) make this one up to 130 if you want to.

  30x Pendant of the Agate Shield - 30 Moss Agate, 30 Bronze Settings

  If you prospect your own Ores, usually you will get a lot of Lesser Moonstone too, but even if you don't prospect the Ores, sometimes 2 Lesser Moonstone is cheaper than one Moss Agate. So get the recipe Design: Amulet of the Moon and use up all your Lesser Moonstone. This recipe turns yellow at 140, you might need to make more than 30 of these.

  The design is sold by these NPCs.

  45x Mithril Filigree - 90 Mithril Bar

  Save these, you will need 45 of them later.

180 - 250

• 180-185
  8x Solid Stone Statue - 80 Solid Stone

• 185-200
  15x Engraved Truesilver Ring - 15 Truesilver Bar, 30 Mithril Filigree

• 200-220

  25x Citrine Ring of Rapid Healing - 25 Citrine, 50 Mithril Bar

  The recipe will go yellow at 210, so you might need to get more Citrine if you are unlucky. If you are lucky you will only need 20.

  If Citrine is too expensive, you can continue to make Engraved Truesilver Ring up to around 210 or maybe more. But you will also need a bit more Mithril Filigree then.

  5x Aquamarine Pendant of the Warrior - 5 Aquamarine, 15 Mithril Filigree

• 225-250
  50x Thorium Setting - 50 Thorium Bar

  Stop making these at 250 and only make more if you need them, but you will need around 50.

250 - 300

• 250-260
  10x Ruby Pendant of Fire - 10 Star Ruby, 10 Thorium Setting

• 260-280

  20x Simple Opal Ring - 20 Large Opal, 20 Thorium Setting

  If you reach 265 and you have a lot of Azerothian Diamond or if it's cheap, you can start to craft Diamond Focus Ring. But keep in mind that you will need 7 Azerothian Diamond for the next step.

  If Large Opal is too expensive on your realm, like it costs twice as much as one Star Ruby, then you should continue to make Ruby Pendant of Fire up to 275. Or if you Prospected your own Ores, you will have a lot of Star Ruby and Azerothian Diamond left, use all of them.

• 280-287
  7x Diamond Focus Ring - 7 Azerothian Diamond, 7 Thorium Setting

• 287-290

  3x Sapphire Pendant of Winter Night - 3 Blue Sapphire, 3 Essence of Undeath, 3 Thorium Setting

  If you don't have Essence of Undeath you can just make Glowing Thorium Band up to 290.

• 290-300

  10x Emerald Lion Ring - 20 Huge Emerald, 10 Thorium Setting

  Make a few Glowing Thorium Band if you have some Azerothian Diamonds left.
